As someone who specializes in Miami luxury event photography, this summer, I had the privilege of photographing a milestone celebration for Bill Hansen as he marked his 80th birthday. This 80th birthday celebration was not just a milestone birthday for Bill Hansen, but also a showcase of artistry and connection within the industry.
Held at FIU’s Koven’s Conference Center in North Miami, the evening was a stunning reflection of Bill’s legacy: timeless, elegant, and vibrant.
I was truly grateful for the opportunity to photograph this beautiful and lively event that brought together decades of hospitality excellence and a lively celebration in honor of Mr. Bill Hansen.

Unforgettable, Lively Moments
from a Miami Luxury Event
As the evening unfolded, laughter, dancing, and connection filled the air. Guests enjoyed cocktails, live music, delightful bites, and heartfelt tributes honoring the decades of excellence that Bill Hansen and his luxury catering and events production company has brought to the hospitality industry.
For me, it’s moments like these that make luxury event photography so meaningful.
Capturing the Details
My goal was to highlight the grandeur and intimacy of the evening, because that’s exactly what it was like.
Wide shots captured the energy of the guests dancing and mingling, while close up images of florals, custom menus and signage, and tropical touches told the story of the thoughtful event design.
Honoring a Legacy
This celebration was more than a birthday bash in honor of Bill Hansen; it was a tribute to the dedication and vision behind Bill Hansen Luxury Catering and Event Production. Beyond being a milestone, it honored the decades of hospitality excellence and celebrated in true tropical Miami style.
