There are some venues that go beyond simply hosting a wedding; they elevate the experience into a work of fine art.
As a wedding photographer who has captured intimate and grand celebrations at plenty of wedding venues, walking into The Ringling Museum felt like stepping into a beautiful European fever dream –like being transported to a scene from a fairytale.
Every corner and nook of this magnificent European-style wedding venue felt both, timeless and deeply poetic.
Naturally, this was the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was inspired by and intentionally designed with the couple’s love for fine art and taste for elegance in mind.

A Masterpiece by Leah Da Gloria
Worth mentioning is this absolute masterpiece of a wedding gown by Leah Da Gloria. As a wedding photographer
who is around the fashion world, my eye always goes to how fabric and light work together and this dress was a dream
to capture.
We are talking about a gown with an intricate bodice that falls into a stunning sculptural skirt
creating a silhouette that felt modern and regal.
The bride looked like a statue brought to life as her dress perfectly matched the grandeur of The Ringling Museum.
One of the best parts about photographing a wedding at The Ringling Museum is the private access to the art galleries.
It’s not every day that you get to photograph a bride and groom in a location that is a literal world class fine art museum.

The wedding cake on digital and 35mm film.
The seven-tier wedding cake was a showstopper masterpiece featuring intricate neo-classical details that reflected the museum’s
own beautiful details that dazzled.
Ultimately, photographing a wedding at The Ringling Museum was all about bringing together history, art, romance, and elegance.
Every detail, corner, and image created had that Old World touch that you simply can’t get anywhere else –unless, Europe, maybe?
Truly, it was an honor to be part of this wedding vendor team.
