When it comes to beautiful and unique wedding proposals, this one at Super Blue Miami is absolutely it! As a Miami wedding photographer, I’ve had the honor of photographing so many beautiful and special moments, but this wedding proposal in the heart of the Pulse art installation is one I’ll never get over.

Kai, the groom to be, had every detail planned out and brought his fiance to the museum under the guise of a regular weekend date/outing before going to a family dinner. Little did she know that he had something truly special up his sleeve!
They stood in the heart of the room, surrounded by pulsating lights that reflected their heartbeats before he quickly got down on one knee and popped the question. Without a doubt, she said yes!
Superblue Miami is a magical immersive art museum with its larger than life installations you could easily spend hours in, but the Pulse exhibit added a touch of intimacy that was simply so perfect for a wedding proposal.
The Pulse installation is an interactive art exhibit where your heartbeat syncs up with the 3000 light bulbs in the room and beautiful rhythmic patterns of light make the entire room feel alive with energy. Being in the room felt deeply mesmerizing.
We spent some time after wandering around the rest of the interactive art installations and capturing more portraits. Superblue Miami was such a unique backdrop for this that every image looked like something out of a dream.
As a photographer, getting the opportunity to capture special moments like these are why I love my job. It goes beyond taking pretty pictures. It’s about immortalizing those once in a lifetime memories -the ones you look back on years later and relive all the joy, all the emotions.
