The first thing that strikes you about Cheeca Lodge is its stunning location.
The resort sits on 27 acres of lush tropical gardens and boasts over 1,200 feet of the most pristine and picture-perfect
beach.
As a South Florida wedding photographer, I’ve photographed at countless of beaches and resorts but none have taken
my breath away like Cheeca Lodge. The wedding opportunities this place has to offer are not only endless but also truly
unique and beautiful.

When Lauren reached out about having her post-courthouse wedding portraits done at this resort, I immediately knew
it was going to be a stunning gallery. One thing to keep in mind about having photos taken at any resort or place where
tourists would normally go relax and hang out is time of day and day of week to do this. You want to stay away from weekends,
holidays, months when school is out (Summer!), and definitely stay away from midday. In other words, sunrise and weekdays
are your best bet and these images are proof of that.
Of course, they requested a couple of photos with their fur babies which was possibly the highlight of my time working with
them! –that’s another plus about this wonderful resort, it’s so pet friendly!
