Thais and Patrik eloped last October in the stunning Captiva Island, FL and to celebrate their beach elopement, they decided to
go for updated photos and do a wedding anniversary session –and because they did a sunset elopement, they planned for sunrise portraits this time.
As a wedding and portrait photographer who is very familiar with sunrise sessions, I knew the exact beach location in Fort Lauderdale for these two lovebirds to have the most majestic
and private sunrise view and it did not disappoint.

Wedding anniversary sessions are such a special way to do “date night”. Pick an activity you both enjoy doing –whether that’s
watching the sunrise, going to the beach, going for coffee every morning, going for a run… you get the idea. Pick an activity that
is both of you and center your session around that activity. I promise, it will make your session so much more meaningful and fun.
